Faithful friends are always together.
I learned of my dear friend’s passing at the Edinburgh Botanical Garden on 1 September 2017. It was a sunny day many butterflies were in the garden. Nadia always loved colours, nature, music, people and life. I was blessed to be one of her friends. Nadia grew up in California. With degrees in psychology she dedicated herself to teaching English as a second language at City College of San Francisco. An active member of the teachers union she inspired thousands with her spirit and passion during her long career. Nadia was a force of nature and deeply creative. Initially inspired to write plays, she would go on to learn media techniques to write and produce animations informed by the people and places she loved. Nadia lives on in the hearts and minds of many of us all over the world.
