Set within the grounds of Logan Botanic Garden, the award-winning Potting Shed provides a warm welcome to garden visitors, with free wifi and both indoor and outdoor seating areas.  

Opening hours

• Open daily from 1 March - 15th November, 10.30am - 4pm (3.30pm in November)
• Open for weekends only in February, 10.30am - 3.30pm.
• The Potting Shed is open to garden visitors only from 1 April to 31 August.

Holder of a 'Taste our Best' quality assurance award from VisitScotland, the Potting Shed serves home-cooked meals and salads, including the popular Mull of Galloway crab salad, alongside hearty homemade cakes, with a focus on using quality ingredients sourced from local suppliers in Dumfries and Galloway.  

Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available, as well as large print menus.  The staff are on hand to provide assistance should visitors have any other specific dietary requirements, allergies or food intolerances.
