Join visual artist Lorna Gallagher for a joyful children’s printing workshop inspired by the work of Matisse. Learn about the process of screen and block printing. Explore the garden and draw inspiration for your own print design. Print your own bag with your original design and create printing block to take home for future printing projects.
This workshop is suitable for children aged 8 + years. Children do not need to be accompanied during the workshop, though adults are welcome to stay if they wish.
Date – Friday 9th & Saturday 24th August
Time – 10:00 – 12:00, 2 hrs
Location – Learning Lab in the John Hope Gateway
Costs - £20, include cotton bag with personal design and printing block to take home.

Lorna Gallagher is a Graduate of the Glasgow School of Art with decades of experience in engaging children with artistic practice. Her work has included projects with the Fruitmarket Gallery, the National Galleries Scotland and Jupiter Artland.
