Share your special moment standing under the tree canopy of our giant redwoods (Sequoiadendron giganteum). Situated in a tranquil area of the garden, the John Muir Grove provides a magical and unique setting for your marriage proposal.
Our marriage proposal package offers you the use of the John Muir Grove with a pre-booked 30 minute time slot and includes luxury Summer House fruit drinks, which can be upgraded to Prosecco. We can also book a photographer to capture your special moment.
Bookings can be made throughout the year during garden open hours, and are subject to the availability of the John Muir Grove on your preferred date.

- Entry to Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh during open hours
- Private use of the John Muir Grove for 30 minutes
- Summer House soft drinks (can be upgraded to Prosecco)

- Package price is £300 for two people, or £310 with Prosecco for two people.
- Photographer to capture up to 50 images and 2hrs of time, an additional charge of £375.
