The Library and Archives are located within the RBGE Science Buildings with access via the Science Reception at 20a Inverleith Row. 

Walking:

The Library is approximately 30 minutes walk from Edinburgh Waverley station in the city centre.

By Bus:

The number 8, 23 and 27 buses from the city centre all stop outside the Science Buildings (stop name - Warriston Drive) - see the Lothian Buses website for more information.

By Car / Taxi:

There is no visitor parking available but on-street parking is available locally (pay at the meter).

If you are getting a taxi please ask to be taken to the Science Buildings at 20a Inverleith Row. If you just ask for the RBGE you are likely to be taken to the main public entrance to the Edinburgh Garden which is on the opposite side of the Garden to the Library.
