Logan Schools' Week

We run annual Schools' week for primary classes at Logan Botanic Garden. This usually takes place in the Spring.

Logan Schools' Week May 2024
The programme will run from Monday 13th to Friday 17th May 2024
Secrets of Trees (P1-3)
Use your senses and observation skills to find out secrets of the trees and why they are an important part of our world. Enjoy a journey through the garden to discover something special about each part of a tree – from root to leaf – and learn more about what they do.
Mapping Our World (P4-7)
Explore different ways of experiencing your local habitat and find out some of the ways that environmental factors shape the biodiversity and the landscapes we live in. Practice creative mapping techniques and learn how to represent and connect to your surroundings in surprising and meaningful ways.
Morning session 10.00am - 12.00pm
(the arrival time includes time for a snack/toilet break at start, the programme starts 10.30am)
Afternoon session 12.30pm - 02.00pm
Each School can book two groups at the same session slot.
Limited indoor lunch space will be available, please email us at schools@rbge.org.uk to check availability and book a space.
Outdoor lunch space is also available.
