I currently work as a Senior Creative Specialist for a marketing agency, where I bring a unique blend of creativity and strategic thinking to our projects. Drawing has always been a passion of mine, and I have found a way to combine this love with my interest in flowers by pursuing the RBGE certificate course, followed by the diploma course.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring the hills and Munros and seeking out Scottish wildflowers and wildlife, which significantly inspire my illustration projects.
Title of the Project:
Botanical Explorations on Bennachie
About the Project:
This project delves into the fascinating flora of Bennachie and its surrounding hills. Through botanical studies and illustrations, I aim to highlight the ecological importance and beauty of these species, which are integral to the diverse habitats of Bennachie. From the Scots pine woodlands to the open heathlands and damp bogs, each plant plays a crucial role in supporting the local wildlife and maintaining the ecosystem.
My work seeks to raise awareness about these plants' intricate details and ecological significance, fostering a deeper appreciation for Bennachie's natural heritage.
