Born in 1977 in Lorient, France.
Attracted by biology and the living world, I first turned to the medical community. Sensitive to the beauty of nature, its details and its mysteries, I gradually developed my sense of observation, first by photography and then to go further in understanding, botanical illustration was like a revelation. So, I gradually trained in Botanical Illustration since 2015 and decided to improve myself by integrating the courses offered by the RBGE. Observe, learn, discover strategies, feature, systems, colours, morphologies, be surprised at the inexhaustible creative resources of nature, a whole world of curiosities and wonders! Botanical illustration also allows sharing by making visible what is not at first sight, exciting!Title of the Project:
Climbing Plants
About the Project:
Theme of climbing plants finally imposed itself on me when I saw that I was bringing together 5 accessible specimens around me (easy to photograph, to observe, etc.). But above all to be able to highlight a specific attachment system for each of them (twining stems, tendrils, adhesive disks). I chose Ipomoea tricolor, Campsis radicans, Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Clematis'arabella' and Passiflora' Coral Glow'. To illustrate this series, I chose to use Faber Castell's polychromos colored pencils as a medium.
