Logan Botanic Garden, a leading visitor attraction in Dumfries and Galloway, has won a top accolade in this year’s Scottish Hospitality Awards.
Garden Curator Richard Baines was delighted when Logan was named as Family Venue of the Year at the awards ceremony in Glasgow on 21 May.

Afterwards he commented: “The award is to testament to the hard work and dedication of all the staff at Logan - in the Garden, bistro and shop. ‘’Visitors often comment to me about the friendly welcome that they receive on arrival and the excellent range of delicious, home cooked food in the Potting Shed Bistro which is fantastic. This year the Garden is looking particularly good due to the amazing flowering season and I would suggest that Logan would be an ideal day out for all the family.”

The five-star Garden, which welcomes around 25,000 visitors a year, runs regular family events. Activities planned for the summer months include children’s creative sessions, pond dipping and stone art.

The Scottish Hospitality Awards acknowledge the dedication to customer satisfaction that makes winners stand out from the rest.

Logan Botanic Garden, Port Logan, Dumfries & Galloway, is part of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
