Dawyck Botanic Garden is nestled in the picturesque Scottish Borders near the village of Stobo, 28 miles south of Edinburgh.  Spread over 65 acres, the garden is home to a stunning collection of trees and plant treasures from around the world offering a unique setting for wedding photography and ceremonies during our annual opening months, 1 February to 30 November.

We offer several hire options for your special day which include wedding photography only, wedding ceremony only, or ceremony & drinks reception afterwards.  You may also be interested in your whole day being in the botanical splendour of Dawyck to include your ceremony, drinks and then evening dining. For each of these options, the capacity is up to 50 people and can be for civil, humanist or religious ceremonies.

The locations from which you can choose to hold your ceremony in the stunning Chapel which dates back to 1837. We also have our Dawyck Panorama viewing platform with stunning views across Scrape Glen, or one of several beautiful locations in the garden amongst our Heritage tree collection.
